- The Safe Green Schools program was launched by the MiChi Health EpiCenter, a non-profit corporation, in May 2009 to support schools, nationwide, in their efforts to comply with JARED's Law for Safe Indoor Environments; OSHA's Law for Employer's to provide protective gear; The EPA C.A.R.E. Initiative to reduce air and radiation toxins; the US Governor's May 2009 Electric Hypersensitivity Awareness Month Campaign; USA Today Report - "Toxic Schools;" and the Center for Disease Control' s "FREE" training for doctors and nurses to treat children with environmental poisonings. Hazardous toxins in school are contributing to massive behavioral (violence), emotional (depression), neuromuscular, heart, lung and cognitive problems in youth, faculty and school administrators.
